Conversation Piece

I sometimes write by taking bits of others' conversation out of their mouths and onto paper with pen. As it happens, the words plunked down clutter themselves in a mess of illegitimacy. Yet, if intuition has played its part wisely and discernment has set in, the pieced together piece turns out admirably convincing:

At my best expense to
accomodate, to have something to
look forward to. Not for long
though, so I'll ask the
day I leave. It said nothing.
Thant's what I'm saying.
