Kids vs Beer

In light of recent political squabbles, Rick Mercer has made a statement about all the 'anti-beer' statements flying around from Canadian politicians:

In response to an "anti-beer special interest group" that runs www.kidsnotbeer.com, he has started his own petition at www.Beernotkids.com.

So far kidsnotbeer's petition is winning with 3331 signatures against beernotkids' 2652 ..

"Let’s stop the hate and let the beer drinking begin.

Remember: children may be our greatest resource but beer is our greatest beverage.

And besides if it wasn’t for beer most of these kids wouldn’t have been born anyway."
