I just got home from seeing Varge for the second time, and despite being in Chilliwack, it was one of the best sets I've ever seen. If you have the chance to see them, definitely take it. Must Lunge is probably my second favourite album of the year, behind Deerhoof's new album.
They were going to play in Abbotsford on May 8th at the Yorkshire Rose with Shearing Pinx and B-Lines, which would have been fantastic, but the Rose is shut down thanks to (surprise) underage drinking. If you can lend out your living room or backyard or basement or whatever, PLEASE get in touch with these bands as soon as possible!
