Torontoist just posted a huge list of some of the best and most interesting cover songs. One of my favourites has to be Nina Gordon covering "Straight Outta Compton".
A few of my favourite covers that aren't on the list include The Stereo's cover of Weezer's "El Scorcho", Jonathan Richman's cover of The Kink's "Stop Your Sobbing" and of course Fun 100's cover of the Ramones' "The KKK Took My Baby Away" (rare and unreleased!).
