This site has a collection of documentaries you can watch online, most of them hosted on Google video. They're all organized by category from science to history to religion and include some choice like the Herge biography Tintin and I and richard Dawkin's The God Delusion.
Some of the videos haven't been working for me, but its a good place to waste some hours and learn at the same time.
